Fourth Brownstones Building Set to Open at Kelly Plantation

PPG Grows 66% in November Sales

Often, we Realtors are asked, “What’s the (real estate) market doing?”

It would be easy to say the market is up or down, but it really depends on several factors, such as price range and property location, but the answer may also vary based on WHO you talk to. According to statistics produced by ECAR (Emerald Coast Association of Realtors), in the areas of Destin and South Walton, Realtors in ECAR on average, increased their sold dollar volume in November 2013 by 13%, compared to November 2012. 13% is a good strong number and we are definitely seeing more sales at higher prices. So, for some brokerages, you might hear that the market is up 13% compared to last November. Yay!

However, if you ask a Realtor at The Premier Property Group what’s the market doing, you may hear a much different answer. For November 2013, sales for The Premier Property Group increased 66% over November 2013. We have outpaced the average brokerage’s growth by more than 400% in November, and December is looking strong, too.

20130911_143352 copyOne of the hottest market segments of real estate during the first three quarters of 2013 is the market between $1,000,000 – $1,500,000. Compared to the same period in 2012, this market segment has seen a 27% increase in the number of sales.

Another interesting market to watch is the $2 Million+ market, where we saw 39 sales during the first three quarters for Destin and South Walton. For the same period in 2013, sales in the $2 Million+ market jumped 92%, with 75 sales.

The PPG Dominates the $1,000,000+ Market

Slide3The Premier Property Group closed out the 3rd quarter of 2013 with over $140 million in sales of homes, condos, and town homes which sold for $1 Million or more, putting The PPG well beyond the second place brokerage, in the luxury home market in the Destin and South Walton market, including all of Scenic Hwy 30A. Through the end of September, 70% of The PPG total sales volume were sales of homes for $1 Million+. Of these $1 Million+ properties, our average selling price is $2,042,341. Not only is The PPG ranked #1 for the highest sales volume in the Million+ market, but they also participated in 69 sales in the Million+ market, making The PPG #1 in that category as well.

3rd Quarter 2013 Company Rankings for Destin and South Walton

Slide2At the end of the 3rd Quarter in 2013, according to Emerald Coast Association of Realtors, The Premier Property Group (The PPG) is ranked at the top of the list for selling homes, condos and town homes in Destin and South Walton, with more than $198 million sold. If you add residential land sales, The PPG has sold more than $225 million in Destin and South Walton.
